Where we can help

When to come in

Sudden pain we see often. Even in acute pain, we begin by understanding what is going on, then work to settle it and calm the nervous system guarding around it. Relief first, and a clear picture of why it happened, so it is less likely to catch you out again.

A back that has suddenly seized or gone into spasm

Acute neck pain or a wry neck you woke up with

A flare-up of an existing disc or nerve problem

Pain after an awkward lift, twist or knock

A sudden injury playing sport, at the gym or on the weekend

A tension headache or migraine that has come on sharply, or that you woke up with

Not a chiropractic emergency

For a genuine medical emergency, call 000.

We are not a 24-hour or on-call service. We see urgent cases during our opening hours. If you need help outside those hours and it cannot wait, please contact a hospital or call 000.

The first visit is a $99 initial assessment, ordinarily $189, for new patients only, one per person, with no obligation to continue. Any imaging is referred if clinically indicated and charged by the imaging provider, not by Aura.

How we fit you in

What happens on the day

We hold a limited number of appointments each day for people who need to be seen quickly. We cannot promise an exact time before you call, but if there is room, we will get you in. If the day is full, we will tell you honestly and help you find the right next step. A same-day visit still starts with a proper assessment, the same case history, examination and measurements as any first visit, so we understand what is going on before we treat it.
