Getting here from St Kilda East

Getting here

We work with the whole person, starting with the nervous system that sets the tone for everything else.

By car it is about 10 to 15 minutes, north across Dandenong Road and up Chapel Street to Toorak Road, arriving at Shop 32, Trak Centre, 443/449 Toorak Road. The Trak Centre car park gives you 90 minutes free parking, and Jackson Street and Toorak Road have timed street parking.

Balaclava and Ripponlea stations are both on the Sandringham line, which is the straightforward train option. By tram there are several to choose from, running along Carlisle Street and Balaclava Road, Chapel Street, Dandenong Road and St Kilda Road. The Chapel Street tram is the most direct: take it north to the Toorak Road corner, where tram 58 carries you east to the Grange Road stop at our door.

From the Carlisle Street shops and cafes, from the paths through Alma Park, or from the southern end of Chapel Street, the way in is the same. It is a short enough trip that a weekly appointment stays a small part of the day rather than an outing you have to plan around.

Who we see

Who we see from St Kilda East

St Kilda East is prosperous and genuinely diverse, with a prominent Hasidic Jewish community alongside young professionals and long-settled residents. That mix reaches us as a wide spread of ages in the one week, from students to grandparents, and a corresponding spread of concerns: some acute and recent, many carried quietly for years before anybody looked at them properly.

Everyone is assessed individually rather than by age bracket, because a student's neck and a grandparent's hip are different problems. The first visit is the same thorough assessment either way, and we will tell you honestly if care here is not right for you.
